So it begins… we planted the first 152 trees in So it begins… we planted the first 152 trees in our super orchard today in Barkham. We are very blessed to have been given a 20 year lease on the land by Wokingham Borough Council. This will allow our charity to grow our own future trees to plant in communities and schools.

Thanks to Gregor , Sarah, David, Craig, Laura, Andy and the team at WBC for helping make this happen.

Huge thanks to Jake and Andre from The Treeple arborists LTD who helped us move all the equipment down to the new site and then helped us plant the trees.

Thanks to all of our great volunteers who braved the weather today.

Finally, thanks to you - our fantastic supporters - who have helped make our journey possible 💕#theworldisourorchard #freefruit #sustainability #reducingcarbonemissions #charity #support #wokinghamboroughcouncil #fruit #treeple

Great morning planting 12 fruit trees with 45 year Great morning planting 12 fruit trees with 45 year 7 and 8 children. Met the wonderful Kathryn Terry and Anne Tunley-Jones who run the eco at the school. Two of our founders (Ryan and James) used to go school here so it was particularly poignant.

We’re looking to come back in the near future and install some growing spaces ❤️ #theworldisourorchard #sustainable #freefruit #reducecarbonemissions #charity #support
Ryan and Matt went back to Emmanuel Church Woodley Ryan and Matt went back to Emmanuel Church Woodley today and met up with Dave.

We replaced a cherry blossom tree that was blown over in last year’s storms. We also replaced the guards on the six apple trees in the garden. #theworldisourorchard #sustainability #charity #freefruit #church #reducecarbonemissions #support
